Privacy Policy
MedLearn is a medical education platform. This policy explains the information used to provide the website and student account features.
Information we process
- Account and profile details you provide, such as an email address, name, phone number, college, and profile photo.
- Learning activity such as recently opened material, favorites, progress, notes, feedback, and subscription status.
- Basic technical information needed for security and reliability, such as device identifiers, browser details, authentication events, and error records.
- Images or other files you choose to upload.
Why we use it
We use this information to authenticate users, deliver and remember learning content, synchronize progress, support subscriptions, prevent misuse, respond to feedback, and keep the service reliable.
Service providers
MedLearn uses Supabase for account, database, and file services; Cloudflare Pages for website delivery and security; and YouTube privacy-enhanced embeds when a lesson includes a video. These providers process data under their own security and privacy terms.
Browser storage
The website stores authentication information, preferences, and cached learning data in your browser so the service can stay signed in and remain useful on slower or interrupted connections. MedLearn does not use this data for advertising.
Sharing and sale
We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate MedLearn, when you direct us to share it, or when required by law.
Retention and security
We retain account information while your account is active and keep limited records when needed for security, legal obligations, or service integrity. We use access controls, encrypted connections, and database policies, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can update profile information in MedLearn settings. You can request permanent account deletion from the profile settings; see the account deletion guide. Clearing this site's browser data removes locally cached preferences and learning data from that browser.
Children and medical notice
MedLearn is intended for medical students and is not designed for children under 13. Its educational material is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
